Hi everyone! This weekend, I detailed a return-customer's 2004 F-150 2wd Lariat. It was overall in pretty good shape, which it should considering it only has 55k miles, but did have some mild scratches and some noticeable swirls and cobwebs, especially prevalent in direct sunlight, and all part of the wonderful "hard" paint. It also had pretty severe factory orange-peel but I do not have the equipment to deal with such issues.
Before

Not bad but it could be better.

Some Swirls... a result of mechanized/improper washing

Trips to Arizona bathed it in dust

After
I used a Mothers Clay Bar kit and Ultimate Compound with a W7006 Foam Cutting pad on my G110v2, topped off by the customer's insisted Eagle 1 Nanowax (which I'm not a big fan of) by hand.

Some Reflections

Looking at my Truck in the reflections/orange peel.

For the wheels and tires, I used Westly's Bleche White on the tires and wheel wells and Meguiar's All Wheel and Tire Cleaner on the wheels, topped off with Meguiar's Hot Rims Mag and Aluminum Wheel Polish (can) with the Spray-on Meguiar's Hot Shine Tire Coating.
(This is just before I used some Mothers Back-to-Black on those ridiculous little black trim pieces just aft of the tires. But the results are otherwise clear.)

For the interior, more Meguiar's products- Leather Conditioner/Cleaner after Lexol Leather Conditioner/Cleaner and Quik Interior Detailer.

Under the hood, I used Meguiar's Engine Cleaner, followed by Supreme Shine coating.

Hope you enjoyed it!
