I own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
Gorgeous Vette! So, you prefer the looks of NXT 2.0 to the UW, huh? NXT does give a great "candy" like shine.
Thank you. Well, when I bought this Vette(my third), it had sat on the lot for about 5 months, and was pretty rough looking from whoever had been washing it. It needed to be compounded, polished, and waxed, so I used the Ultimate "threesome". My first two Vette's came strait from Bowling Green, and my Camaro had only been on the lot a week, so they just needed a good shine, used NXT on them. This is the first time I've used NXT on this Vette, and it definitely looks better than the Ultimate Wax. I had great results on black, so I figured this Supersonic Blue would come out nice.
Actually my garage is quite similar to yours (same door, white walls, neat & tidy). I need to have at least one room in the house where everything is "just so".

LOL, yeah, it's nice to have at least one area of the house to claim as your own, wife stakes her claim on the rest...
Wow that looks great, awesome car! Actually, all of your cars look awesome. Did you work by hand or D/A?? Did you take those photos directly after finishing?, because quite often the NXT looks even better after a few hours.

Thank you. I used a DA, and usually take any pictures right after, so I most likely did so on those above. It'll sit in the garage for a couple days, got rain coming in as I type this, and thunderstorms predicted in the afternoon.
OK, yes, the car looks absolutely stunning, no doubt about it. But come on, what else did you do? It certainly didn't take 5 hours just to put some NXT on this car...... the chrome wheels are just gleaming and the tires are insanely black without being overly glossy. So what else did you do in those 5 hours? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!

Thank you. I took a couple breaks to cool off while working on it, and had to be really careful of gravel and sand. They lay it down thick around here in winter, and when you use a D/A, it shakes it lose around the rockers, and fenders. One grain on the pad could ruin my day, so I slow down a lot on certain parts of the car. But yeah, I also polished the wheels, and used black magic on the tires. I don't much care for the wet look on tires, so I wipe it off after it sits for a few minutes, they look black, but not so glossy. And of course I had to use painters tape on all the rubber, and plastic trim, so that takes some time to put on and remove.
