  • DA Microfiber Kit

Was toying around today with the DAMF. Just have to say, holy cow! Amazing! The roof of the GTI was a bit unsightly; swirls and a few marks from the previous owner having a roof rack (which they apparently used ... A LOT). So being off from work, I decided to give it a go.

Wash: GC soap, wipe down with UQW

    Cut: GV110v2, DAMF 5" pad, D300

Polish: GV110v2, Polish Pad 8", UP

Wax: GV110v2, Finishing Pad, M16 (spread like hot butter ... hmmmm)

Again, didnt take before photos ... sun was not cooperating; and impending rain clouds I had to hurry. But who cares, lets see the results...

So, it was just the roof I did. With 3 passes, the majority of swirls were GONE! Out of here. BYE BYE.

I am probably a late comer to the DAMF but better late than never.

    Thanks for viewing!

Mixing D300 and a microfiber pad with some old school M16? Awesome! And the shine looks awesome as well - nicely done.

Thanks Michael. But I didn't use the microfiber pad to apply M16. It was with a soft buff pad. I wasn't sure the MF & M16 combo would perform as I'd like. Err on the side of caution right?
