Bought a new work van today

For the past year or so I had been wanting to get a work van to do mobile jobs with. Working out of my pickup was okay but the gas was too much at times. Plus I wanted it for a more professional look.

I have had my eye on the Ford Transit Connect the past year or so, I took a test drive recently and really ended up liking it. I ended up going to 4 different dealers to get the best price on just a regular standard model XL. I thought it over for the next couple days and decided to go ahead and buy it.

I went and picked the van up today, its going back in next Tuesday for shelving in the back, and as my budget allows I will customize it more.

i've been eyeing this exact van myself, though I'm not a serious detailer(work for $$) but if I ever decided to quit my job to do detailing for $$, that would be my vehicle of choice.
Hope this van makes your detailing business a bigger success, post pics of the set up soon!!
Btw....you'll need a couple Meguiars stickers for the side!!

A neighbor of mine who owns a plumbing company got rid of his full sized van for one of these and absolutely loves it. Looks like an excellent choice for a mobile detail rig, Nick!

I would have responded sooner but I have been too busy working and using the van.

Ford rates the gas mileage at around 27-30 on the highway and 21-23 in the city. Depending on your driving habits and such.

I will post more pictures one I get my shelving put in.
