  • 2005 GMC Envoy , a couple of Super Duty cleanings

2005 GMCY Envoy. Just another express detail.

In & out in 2.5 hours.

The express jobs are fun since my clients feel my little mini jobs rivals many local shop's full details. Except I dont apply greasy dashboard motor oil type dressings and I actually clean the wheel wells.

    Before:

    Vacumm.
Rubber mats washed with Dawn Power Clean.
Wipe down vinyl/plastic/jambs with ONR & hot water mix.
3D Odor Eliminator to remove cigar odor.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.

    Exterior:

    Pressure Wash.
Washed with 3D Wash & Wax.
    Tires/wells degreased with 3D Yellow Degreaser 10:1
Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax applied to paint, glass, & wheels.
Tires dressed with 3D Ultra Thick Protectant.

    After:

    ================================================

    2007 Ford F-250.

I usually do this truck twice a year. Full Ext/Int detail. Work truck type detail.

170k miles and the owner just put 5k into getting the transmission & engine worked on from the dealership. Although he suspects the dealership ripped him off.

The truck gets driven on dirt roads for miles every single day.

Spent some time getting a lot of the diesel soot off the paint as well.

    Interior:

    Vacumm.
Rubber mats washed with Dawn Power Clean.
Carpeted mats & carpeting hand shampooed with 3D Carpet Shampoo.
Vinyl/leather cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner & hot water mix.
Wood trim treated with ONR at QD dilution & Opti-Seal.
Jambs washed with ONR & Goof Off.
Weatherstripping reconditioned with 3D Trim Care Protectant & a paintbrush.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.

    Exterior:

    Before:

    Pressure Wash.
Complete degreasing of bed, auxiallry tank, tires, wells with 3D Yellow Degreaser 4:1.
Washed with a mix of Dawn Power Clean & Hyper-Wash.
Clayed with ONR & Meguiars blue clay.
IronX (with what little I had left)
    Tar treated with Goof Off.
    Sealed with Opti-Seal.
Tires, trim, & wells dressed with All Season Dressing.

On a side note, the wheels are shot completely.

Dont worry, I removed the snow off the bumper with a quick blast of the electric sprayer.

    2011 Ford F-350

Work truck from one of my most regular clients . Same type of detail as the above Super Duty but the process was different. I'll admit this truck is a bit of a garage queen but thats the way the owner likes it.

Rubber floor scrubbed with 3D Carpet Shampoo.
    Rubber floor washed with ONR.
Vinyl cleaned with 3D APC 10:1 & hot water mix.
Plastic treated with ONR at QD dilution.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.
Jambs washed with ONR & dressed with 3D Trim Care Protectant.

Finally picked up a Brinkmann swirl finder, the boat/marine version that is

Great job as always Nick! It's great to hear you can do a full interior/exterior in 2.5 hours.

      Superb work, Nick.

Even with just 2.5 hours spent you still deliver the trucks in great shape.

How thin Opti-Seal goes on and what's the average usage per vehicle ? I realized it comes in small 8 oz. size.

And cars look like new again.

        Thanks Marco & Dave.

The Envoy was not a full interior/exterior. Just a mini detail.

Both Super Dutys took almolst 8hrs a piece.

Great work for sure, and your 2.5 hour "mini detail" is excellent.
