  • 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible

    The car is only three months old and was ready for its first detail, then will be put away for the winter.

    Before:







    Wash:

    Foamed/washed with 3D Wash & Wax
    Crevices & emblems pre treated with All Purpose Cleaner Plus 10:1.
    Tires/wheels & wells cleaned with 3D Yellow Degreaser 4:1.
    Jambs cleaned with 3D Orange Degreaser 10:1.
    Clayed with ONR & Meguiars blue mild clay.

    During:








    Interior:

    Vacumm.
    Spot treat vinyl with All Purpose Cleaner & hot water mix.
    All interior vinyl & plastic treated with Quik Interior Detailer.
    Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.
    Painted interior surfaces sealed with Opti-Seal.
    Jambs washed with ONR.





    Exterior:

    Tar treated with Tarminator.
    Waxed/sealed with HD POXY.
    Tires dressed with 3D Ultra Thick Protectant.
    Wells dressed with Hyper-Dressing 2:1.
    Engine & shuts wiped down with ONR.
    Wheels sealed with Opti-Seal.

    After:

            How would you compare 3D Wash & Wax to Hyperwash? I haven't used either, just curious.

                I like POXY. Looks amazing & is easy to use.

                The car was not very contaminated so I just took the time to clay it.

                The 3D W&W foams more ( close to Super Soap) and is pretty slick. Hyperwash is nice too and is more economical.
