  • Touareg, Sierra, X5

    2003 Volkswagon Touareg.

I did not get a chance to really take before shots. The truck was driven pretty hard by a 90yr old man. He gave it to his daughter since his family wanted him to start driving less.

The exterior has dozens of dents & dings. The truck was sideswiped a while back and the owner just spray painted it with red paint to cover it up. The interior needed some work as well.

Like I said, I did not get before shots. Imagine tons of debris & stains everywhere.

    Interior:

    Vacumm.
Leather/vinyl cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner & hot water mix.
Carpet shampooed with All Purpose Cleaner & hot water.
Plastic & wood trim cleaned with Quik Interior Detailer.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.
Jambs cleaned with ONR, rubber hoses & trim dressed with All Season Dressing.

I couldnt fix the nav screen.

    Exterior:

    Pressure wash.
Wheels cleaned with Wheel Brightener 4:1.
Tires/wells cleaned with Purple Power 1:1.
    Foamed/washed with Hyper-Wash.
Clayed with blue clay & ONR.
    Polished/waxed with #66 - Quick Detailer (Cleaner/Wax) via PCXP.
    Sealed with Opti-Seal.
Tires/wells/trim dressed with All Season Dressing.

    ==========================================

    2010 BMW X5.

Last time I detailed it was in January, so it definitly needed some prep for the winter.

The truck needs to be polished as well but we decided to wait until after winter.

Pretty much the same process as the above two, Foamed, washed, degreased, clayed, polished with M66, sealed with Opti Seal, & an interior cleaning.

    Before:

    After:

My client also asked if I could polish this out while I was there. Wife got hit by a semi.

Man that paint looks dripping wet!

Was the DIY paint job on the Touareg on the passenger side? I am glad to see you've been keeping busy in this lousy economy.

This pic reminds me of last Wednesday AM. Tuesday night I did an ONR wash. First thing Wednesday I went out and did the bottoms of all 4 doors. ONR followed by Ultimate Paste Wax on the paint and #40 on the rubber. I finally got some good use out of that garage creeper.

              Thanks Paul!

The customer sprayed the paint on the passenger side, I will see if I can get a better picture.

I actually took the weatherstripping off the Sierra, the tabs just pop right out. There was a lot of mud caked up behind the rubber.

The Sierra is always a lot of work since its a work/fuel truck.

                  Great work, Nick.

First Class interior detail, as always, and all paints responded super well to M66/ Opti Seal combo.
