First of all: this is only my second paid detailing job, so I'm not yet an experienced detailer like many of the guys on this forum, but I do my best in trying to learn.
Sorry... I only took "after" pictures.
This is a diesel car, 6 years old and it has done 115.000 miles
It was full of swirls, then some rids, then it had pretty badly baked brake dust on the rims, road tar on the sides, tree sap on the roof, bird etchings and other nasty stuff...
Tools used:
- wash: gold class shampoo & meg's microfiber mitt (2 buckets with grit guard)
- wheels: meguiars wheel brightener and gold class wheel brush
- tar & tree sap: gold class bug & tar remover & cheap microfiber towels
- claying: meg's mild clay with final touch 1:1 as a lubricant
- correction: meguiars G220 V2 + meg's yellow polishing pad + ultimate compound (quite hard paint on this car)
- waxing: NXT 2.0 paste wax
- tyres: meguiars endurance tyre gel
- trim: meg's ultimate protectant
- glass: meg's D120 glass cleaner
Time required: about 8 hours.
All in all I'm happy about how it came out, the customer was very satisfied too
(that's what matters after all, isn't it?)
