Well it seems that on my Ranger forum, that I am the clean freak, the guy who "took his bed off to clean his truck" lol. I am OCD about the thing really. But I'm nothing compared to you guys up here bwahaha. I wish I had half the skill. I want to learn how to buff from a pro, Im afraid to touch my truck with a buffer by myself. But anyhow, i often get challenged on the forum about who can clean thier truck better, I always win, but the challenge is nice...
Anyway here are the pics from the recent challenge and process:
a few before:

Fist I removed each wheels and tire and cleaned them front and back with Simple Green, pressure washer, and a tire brush:

Then I polished the aluminum wheels with the DynaCone and Meguiar's Metal polish (AWESOME PRODUCTS)

Then I put wheels back on the truck and rinsed her good and gave her a good hand wash with some Deep Crystal Wash and pressure washer to rinse.

Dried her off with some brand new microfiber towels, then hit the inside with the vacuum and some Meguiar's natural Shine:

Detailed her with some QD (I just two weeks before)
You will notice that I dont use Tire Shine. I Hate tire shine on my truck. Now I use it on the wifes car, but cant stand it on the pickup. I love the look of my CLEAN tires. You could wipe a whit cloth across the tire and it would come off clean
Shiny wheel:

And shiny truck:

I then went home and cleaned my buddy's jeep up with him. notice the wheels and tires? they are now mine!!!! ill be putting them on for the winter as the winter is harsh on my polished babies. then in the spring ill put the tires on my polished wheels
