Big "A" Detailing 93 BMW 530i Wagon 2 Step Exterior + Hood Wetsand

So these hand written notes with your process - are these notes you make for future reference in the event you work on the same car again in the future, or do you just have an aversion to typing? If the former, that's a great idea! If the latter, well, it's still a good idea!

i use them for everything. i would take pics of a car & by the time i was ready to make a thread i would forget things. so, i started to make an outline for the big jobs & the jobs i want to feature on the forums. i take a pic of the outline & use that as like a "cover page" for the thread. also, the outline is great for my helpers. i tape the list to the wall & open the doors in my cabinet & go shopping for whatever products we need for the job. i always go over the job with my guys, tell them what we need etc etc. i do this for the small jobs as well but i just save the notes for the big jobs i want to put online.
when im ready to post the car all i have to do is go over the outline & scroll through all of the pics. when i post the work i remember mostly everything that was done. this helps me communicate with peope on the forums & "stay in touch".
there have been plenty of times where i had similar jobs & all i do is look back to see what was used. most of the time i repeat the same steps. i try to keep it simple to decrease the amount of brain farts =)
i will admit i read my threads over n over again & study my work. im a straight up wierdo i know.
i love when a customer calls me up & says theyre car looks like the one in the thread. they are sold right there on the spot. from there the challenge is to book the car right away lol.
