  • Daily Driver Clean Up (with pics)

After a day of working on our daily driver, I wanted to share with everyone. It certainly doesn't match a lot of other folks' work here, but I'm happy with it.

    Products used (in order):
    Westley's Bleche White (tires)
    Hot Rims All Wheel cleaner
    Gold Class Wash
    Smooth Surface Clay Kit
    ColorX
    Gold Class Plus Paste Wax
    Endurance Tire Dressing
    Ultimate Protectant

It's been a while since I've done this thorough of work on a car, and am by no means an expert. Feedback welcome.

    Thanks for looking!

    That's all that really matters!

By the way, it looks better than showroom new.

Looks very nice. The ultimate protectant worked great on the trim.

It's a 2004, and just turned 70,000 miles over the weekend.

Yes, the trim was what I was most excited to work on. I had read and seen such good things about UP. It certainly didn't disappoint. The interior came out just as nice as the outside, but I forgot to grab pics of that.

Yes, it certainly is. It's definitely not perfect, but the white helps hide the minor things that are there from a couple feet or more away.

Actually, with it being my wife's vehicle, what REALLY matters is that she's happy.

And she definitely is. She said she feels like she's driving a new car, and told me it "smells so nice" inside now (the UP fragrance apparently is to her liking).

Overall, I cannot complain about any of the products I used. Thanks Meguiars, and everyone on these forums, for such good products and sharing of experience with them.

Wow, a 2004? Even more amazing now. Hard to believe it is 7+ years old.

Yup! It only matters what you think. The vehicle looks great!
