Hello everyone. This is the first detail I have done in a while but I am pretty happy with how it came out. Sorry the pictures aren't amazing...I am by no means a photographer.









Meguiar's Gold Class Wash: I am super impressed with this wash! It really was a massive step up from the deep crystal! No comparison.
Meg's Scratch X 2.0: Amazing amazing product. Took out scratches by hand and without issue!
Meg's Ultimate Polish: I am not that impressed with this product...when used by hand it really just lacks the cutting power I was expecting...maybe if applied with a buffer it way be able to do a better job but I see it better suited to the jobs of a glaze
Meg's Ultimate Liquid wax: what can I say? All the reviews on the site that have talked about how amazing this stuff is are...not overrated! This is an amazing wax! It really is!

Red finishes are not an easy detail. And, you did this by hand more power to you on that one. Nice work.

Looks great inside too... though the wood looks an odd color for the interior?

And yeah, I wouldnt plan on removing swirls by hand with Ult. Polish.

Haha yeah...I really need to invest in a porter cable. It's next on my list

I agree on the wood...I think if it were a little darker it would pop more and look absolutely killer

Porter Cables run around 100 bucks on Amazon, well for the past few weeks at least. The cost is in the pads, and the mount for the pads. Figure in around 200 bucks and that should get you a couple compound pads, polish, and final polish pads.

The gloss of the paint looks amazing! Red looks great when properly detailed. Great job!

Ultimate polish doesn't have an aggressive cut rating so what you're getting from it is normal. It has a lot of polishing oils though so I'm sure the gloss was significantly improved.

Honestly I am not sure if maybe it was just that the paint was in such good shape or what, but the gloss was not really improved much at all...I am not sure what was going on. O well. and it is actually a burnt orange color...but I can see how you would all think it looked red in the pictures...I think what it is is almost a mix between burnt orange and like a really glossy deep red. Because in the bright light it looks orange and in darker environments it looks a real deep red...I LOVE IT
