  • 2010 Ford F150 King Ranch

I had this beast come in today. It wasn't really bad, but still needed some TLC. The owner was getting ready to head out on vacation this week, so he wanted his truck dressed up. I got a chance to use my Durramaid Hot Water Extractor too. I have used it before on a SUV, but didn't get a chance to take before pictures on it. I did get some "before" and "afters" on this one though.

My client was very happy with the results. The truck didn't shine this well when he bought it new. Like I haven't heard that one before. Sounds like a common think with dealerships.

    Exterior:
    Washed with Hyper Wash
    Polished with D151 using a G100 polisher
Trim dressed with Trim Accent Coating
    Tires dressed with Endurance gel

    Interior:
    Vacuumed interior
Durrmaid Hot Water Extractor using APC+ 10:1
APC+ 10:1 on leather seats and interior panels

    Came out great!

Is there a detailer secret involving the bag on the center console?

      Thanks man.

LOL That bag contains the change and stuff from their center console. The bag says "Thank You". Its something I like to do for folks when detailing their cars. It gets their stuff put away so I can clean up the interior and it gives them a chance to go through it. They can see what stays and what goes back into their clean ride.

Wow- So technically, it is a detailer's secret... Nice thought though- well done!

When I die, bury me in a King Ranch.

The King Ranch has got to have one of the better interiors offered in a truck. Who would have thought that the truck being essentially a utility vehicle would get the beautiful touches they offer these days. I was "scratching and sniffing" around our local Ram dealership the other day and they had a beautiful White/Tan Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn that I fell in love with. My wife quickly brought me back to reality after seeing the 50K + price tag. Imagine a pair of boots, with the buckles and leather of a saddle.
