  • 2003 Honda Accord EX

So my buddy just bought his third Accord a few months ago and I really wanted to clean it up nicely. For the most part it was well taken care of. Currently it has 122k on it but you wouldn't guess it from the condition. We were pressed for time so here's what we did:

Pre-soak with APC 10:1 on front bumper and lower panels (bugs came right off )
Wash with Ultimate Wash & Wax
Cleaned wheels with Meg's AWC and agitated/ Washed wheels with UW&W
    Clayed
Meg's Ultimate Polish on Softbuff 2.0 polishing pad (PC 7424 speed 5) - removed 50-60% of the defects
Sealed paint with Meg's UW (liquid)
Sealed wheels with CroftGateUSA Quick N' Slick
Tires dressed with Meg's Hotshine Foam spray

Is it perfect? No. But, as he uses it as a daily driver and to and from the fire station for calls it doesn't need to be. I must say, the paint was a beautiful color. It had a pearlescent look to it in the silver. Enjoy!

Thanks buddy! We didn't get to clean the interior but it really didn't need it. I am still amazed at the condition of the car. When he got it I thought it had maybe 40k on it tops. I was shocked when he said he picked it up with 120k on the clock. The leather interior is in fantastic shape with no visible rips or tears. There are some swirls but not any etchings in the paint which makes me think this car was garages all of the time. He got it for a great price too.

Excellent job Andy! She really does look flawless....especially for having 120k on the odo! I love silver paint, it's gotta be the easiest color to work with as it hides minor imperfections very well. So are ya back to running with a fire dept? Well hopefully I don't see ya on the big one!!
