2010 Buick Lacrosse CXL metallic black with 20725 km. This car is the first new Lacrosse sold at the closest dealer in 2009. Completely loaded car, minus AWD. Sticker price of $42525 CDN !!!

The customer came to me at the end of May asking for a quote for a wash & wax. Unfortunately, he went to the local hand car wash to get the job done instead of bringing the car to me. And guess what ? He called back 2 weeks ago asking if I could do something with the swirls he now has all over his paint. Once the el cheapo wax/filler used by the carwash faded, he realized his mistake !
Now the main goal was to remove those swirls and make the metallic to really pop.

Process:
Began at 7h45 and was done at 2h30.
Wash rims, tires and wheel wells with NXT soap and APC
Wash with NXT and a few drops of APC for a stronger cleaning power
Clay with Ricardo Yellow Clay and LastTouch 1/1 as a lube
Rewash with Gold Class
D300 Correction Compound with a 5,5 Correction MF pad on the back bumper and a few deeper scratches
Ultimate Polish with a white 5,5” LC pad
Gold Class Carnauba Plus Liquid Wax with a red 6,5” LC pad
High Tech Yellow Wax M26 with a red 6,5” LC pad
Ultimate Quick Wax in the jambs, rims and side windows
Endurance Tire Spray on the tires
Ultimate Protectant Spray on the flaps

Vacuum/dry brush/vacuum
Spot cleaned with Quick Out Carpet Cleaner
Cleaned windows using NXT Glass Cleaner
Cleaned/dressed vinyl and seats using Quick Interior Detailer

All in all, I really enjoyed working on this gorgeous Buick. I like the look of this black one better thant the metallic white Lacrosse I detailed a few week ago.
The owner was very happy with how the flakes in the paint were popping in the sun. He also told me that he should have come to me at first instead of going the cheap route and go to the carwash. He wanted to save and ended up spending more to get the car shining how he wanted it.

Sounds like he's a fast learner, and now he knows where to go in the future to keep his car looking its best. You did an outstanding job here and that flake is poppin' like crazy now!
