  • ES300, Malibu

    2002 Lexus ES300.

Basic detail, best looking ten year old vehicle I have seen in a while, that as well as the fact that it has 150k miles. Usually senior citizens keep their vehicles looking nice inside and out.

    Before:

    Foamed/washed with Super Soap.
    Clayed while washing.
    Waxed/sealed with #20 - Polymer Sealant.
    Tires/wells dressed with Hyper-Dressing 1:1.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.
    Tar removed with Tarminator.
    Jambs cleaned with ONR.

Other than vacumming and wiping down the interior I did not detail it. The floormats could use a light shampoo and the leather could use a light cleaning. The owner told me we would focus on that next time in a couple months though.

    After:

    =======================================================

    2010 Chevy Malibu.

A basic/premium detail, client keeps it nice but still likes to have it done twice a year. Usually once during winter and in the summer.

    Before:

    Vac/dry brush/vac.
Vinyl/leather cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner & hot water mix.
Vinyl/leather dressed with Quik Interior Detailer.
Floor mats pressure washed/shampooed with 3D Carpet Shampoo.
    Jambs cleaned with ONR.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.

Couple things on the interior, the carpet is a PITA and comes close to Mazda. Takes forever to vacumm.
The pedals, looks like GM took them from the trucks out of the early 90s.

    After:

    Exterior:

    Foamed/washed with Shampoo Plus.
    Clayed while washing.
    Polished/waxed with #66 - Quick Detailer (Cleaner/Wax) via PCXP.
    Tires dressed with Hyper-Dressing 2:1.
    Tar treated with Tarminator.

My mother's 2008 Pontiac G6 should have a similar carpet. I hate to vacuum it as well. It takes a while, then I am not satisfied with the result. Always seem like I can't get it better, everything is stuck there...

I have a 2010 Lacrosse already in my driveway tonight that I need to detail tomorrow. It is the same beautiful Carbon Black color as this Malibu. It is an optional color, with additional cost.

This Lexus still looks like new. Amazing for a 9 years old car with that much millage.

            Nick,
Another great couple of jobs. Good clarity on paint. Especially the Malibu metallic!!

I admire your ability to work in this heat and humidity. I'm taking a few days off to cool down!
