1998 200SX SE-R (First FULL Detail Customer)

Today was my first time doing a full detail for a customer. I have been just washing cars.It's a 200SX SE-R. The detail was just a challenge for me, and the customer didn't pay more than a regular wash and wax, but I needed to start somewhere and I figured if he would let me take a stab at it, and tell others who detailed his car, then it would be worth it. The bumpers were not touched, customer has new bumpers awaiting paint.

Process:
Citrus Wash (To remove old wax)
Meguiar's M105 (Ultra Cut Compound) with Meguiar's polishing pad.
Meguiar's M205 (Ultra Finishing Compound) with Meguiar's polishing pad.
Citrus Wash (Remove remaining compound and dust)
Meguiar's Mirror Glaze with Meguiar's Polishing pad. (Used on windows as well to remove all water spots)
Meguiar's Mirror Glaze with Meguiar's finishing Pad.
Citrus Wash (To remove all the excess compound and dust)
Sealed With Meguiar's NXT 2.0
Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax

Wheels/Trim:
Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner on wheels
Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner on trim to remove excess compound/wax
Black Magic Trim dressing
Black Magic tire shine (Applied twice)

Interior:
Vacuumed
Wipedown with minimal amount of Black Magic dressing
Removed Cuphold tray, etc. to soak, clean and reinstall.

Total Time:
10 Hours

Thanks. The customer just picked up the car a few minutes ago, he was shocked it came out as good as it did. If he only knew the power or meguiar's.

His words were "Are you sure I'm paying you enough..." and he said he would bring it back to me every time it needed waxing. I also gained 2 customers the next day from him, but they hd new vehicles so it was just a simple wash and wax.

Yes. Got 2 more calls today for customers wanting appointments. None for paint correction, but the wash and wax is a good money maker as well.

This is a very good thing.
Usualy, when my car is all clean and shiny I park my car in the driveway in a way that people can clearly see it when driving in the street.

I live in the back corner of a neighborhood about half a mile away from where any traffic goes :\ It's been facebook advertising and word of mouth so far. Going to make some fliers and go around the country club (Older rich women=$$$ )

Great work on bringing that paint back to life. Black is an awesome color when its polished!
