2010 GMC Denali, 2008 Hyundai Accent

Another busy week-end for me.
I began on Friday evening with a 2010 black GMC Sierra Denali. Only 20350 km, but looks like **** already. Customer wanted the truck cleaned inside/out and waxed. I had to have the truck ready for pickup at noon on Saturday. I didn’t clay because the owner didn’t want me to…

Process :
Washed rims, tires and wells with APC and NXT soap
Washed with NXT with a few drops of APC for a stronger soap
Dried with an Absorber and a Water Magnet
ScratchX by hand on a few scratches
Waxed with D301 Finishing wax on a green LC pad
Rims polished with Meg’s Motorcycle Chrome Polish
Ultimate Quick Wax on windows and rims
Trims shined with Ultimate Protectant (cream)
Tires shined with Endurance Spray
Vacuum
Plastics cleaned with APC+ and hot water
Windows cleaned with NXT glass cleaner
Dressed leather seats and plastics with Quick Interior Detailer

I was done a 11h30, just in time !
Now with the pictures.

The stained rims, after they were washed. I had to have them shiny and quick ! I used the Motorcycle Chrome Polish from Meg’s and it made a great job.

Now, second car of the day. 2008 Hyundai Accent with 92300 km. The girl bought it 2 years ago and it was only rinsed down a few times a year since then. It needed a wash baddly ! She wanted the car to be polished and waxed.

Process :
Washed rims, tires and wells with APC and NXT soap
Washed with NXT with a few drops of APC for a stronger soap
Clayed with Meg’s blue clay
Rewashed with Gold Class
Dried with an Absorber and a Water Magnet
D300 Compound on the MF Cutting Pad
D301 Finish Wax on the MF Finishing Pad
Ultimate Quick Wax on the windows
Endurance Tire Spray

I wanted to try the new MF kit and this car was the perfect car to do so. I was impressed with the ease of use and the amazing result I got with this kit.

As you can see on this pic, the owner of the Denali still has not picked his truck at 4h. Thankfully I had to get it done by noon… Oh well…

Very nice work.

The Denali was in a pretty bad shape. No wonder detailing took a lot of your time.

I really like the paint correction results on The Accent with DA MF Correction System. Very impressive indeed.

Looks really nice!

Those rims on the Sierra look great after polishing them, next time if you are in a hurry you could use steel wool but you want to test a small spot first just to make sure. You can usually use it on most chrome surfaces.
