  • 1973 TA22 Toyota Celica

I bought this little gem late last year and managed to get some time to detail her earlier this year. She was in great condition and an easy and rewarding detail. There are no before and after shots as I hadn't planned to but her online but loved the retro look so took a few shots after the detail near a local cattle farm in Australia.

    Enjoy

Nice job on the detail, good reflections.

The photos however sent me to the basement to rummage through my '70s photos. The seat belt photo is the best!!

I take it your grandparents showed you some '70s photos?

      Thank you

Those photos don't look recent to me, they look like they were taken in the 70's.

that was the effect i was going for. i made sure the background was an old dairy field and then applied a retro effect to the image in photoshop. helps being a web designer

Wow, those pics really do look authentic abd look like they came straight out of the 70's. I looked for the Exif data from the picture, but it wasn't there so I thought that they may have been original vintage... Photoshop explains that.

You can tell they are recent by the tires... 70's tires (sidewall and tread) looked nothing like what is in the photo.

Seeing that older style photo makes me want to say. "DUCK and COVER!!"

The car looks killer, good job!

Sweet old school Celica, right hand drive adds even more to the cool factor! Great job! I dig the effect on the pictures too!

                          76celica,
I just wanted to let you know that you really had me fooled with those pictures. You have mastered photo shop and the buffer. Your car looks really nice. I wouldn't mind seeing more.

                            Great work!

While the Photoshopped photos look authentic, I must say I prefer the un-edited photo as far as showing the true condition of the just-detailed car.

The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
