2007 Aston Martin Vantage, Black, by hand

Hi guys, I am no pro by any means, this is my first detail, and first picture post.

Even though I have a buffer, I was afraid to use it on this car, so I carefully did this by hand with yellow foam pads and microfiber towels. I exclusively used Meguiar's products. Washed the car, clayed it, then Ultimate Compound, sometimes SwirlX, then M5 Mirror Shine Polish and M7 Mirror Shine Yellow Wax. It's hard for me to buy the products, so next I'll be focusing to import from the USA. Would love the big jugs with product. Next on my list is the Meguiar's Dual Action buffer. Let me know what you all think of my job.














On the left side, I did only Ultimate Compound (after claying), right side is untouched.

Looks great!! The last shot really shows how effective UC can be by hand.

Lol. you are right. Also, this was like a cardio workout. total hours spent, about 7hours over 2 days. And I could still keep going for another 7 or more. It looks like there comes no end in time. Ok, 7 hours by hand, maybe with DA 2hrs? Not sure. I just wanted to be extremely careful.

Just got the email alert from Meguiar's that their DA is back in stock!!

I am still amazed about the results I got with hand polishing
