    Here are some befores:

    Here are the afters:

I charged $60 for this job which I felt was a decent price for 2.5 hours. I am not a full time business so I don't have any overhead. If it pays for my time, the materials and some more I am more than happy!

I have a correction coming up this week that I undercharged the client on but I am trying to expand a client base and he's a really nice guy. I will be sure to post that as it will be a Microfiber System correction.

    Anyway, thanks for looking!

I myself was a bit suprised when you posted the after shots, I asked myself how did he get the paint looking so wet & glossy looking LOL.

    Looks really nice Shawn.

I know you just did a basic wash/seal but did you end up skipping clay due to price/time?

Good for you on landing the correction. What type of car & if you do not mind me asking how much was your price quote.

You probably do not want to hear my input, but do not charge too little as that can scare people away or attract the "cheapos" with the trashed four bangers and french fries stuck to the headliner who want "everything for nothing"

Anyways, good for you on landing your first couple jobs.

Great job Shawn! The paint really pops! I'm surprised to see the gloss with just the aquanil-x and quick and slick.

Congrats on your prospective client! Don't feel bad at all because it's usually like that at the start.. It's a way to entice people to go with you for a detail and once they see how good you are then word will spread.

Thanks Nick! Means a lot coming from you.

I skipped the clay because of time/price. I completed this vehicle in 2.5 hours and decided that the clay did not fit in the package.

The correction is on a Jeep that goes off-roading. Client told me they were "bush scratches" and were therefore not that deep. I'm not sure he understands that those are usually very deep. I saw the vehicle and the scratches are in long and in almost every panel. I will ask tomorrow if I can do a test spot in the vehicle to see what I will need and how many of the scratches can be repaired. I quoted him $100 on doing the exterior only. Underpriced IMO and if I find that the paint does not cooperate well I will tell him that the price has to increase.

I am trying to avoid those cheapo people by telling them explicitly what I will do. I also write it out on a pad I keep with me the name of the client, the price, what's included in the package and a spot for the client to sign just to ensure there is no discrepancy in what we agreed to. It won't help me if someone truly chooses to stiff me but it makes me feel better.

Thanks Marc! Yeah, that combo really makes the paint pop ridiculously!

I was also thinking the same thing.

          Very nice quick detail, Shawn.

          Aquanil-X/ Quick-N-Slick is a killer combo.

Very good price looking at the vehicle after. You should get new customers in no time.
