  • A couple Jeep Grand Cherokees

One of my most regular clients bought four used 08-09 Grand Cherokees that ranged in mileage from 25k -75k.

He planned on giving them to family members as gifts and I was called in to service them since they were a bit dirty.

The first two arrived earlier this week & I made time in my schedule to get them done before the next two arrived the following week.

The process remains just about the same for both trucks.

    Befores:

    Grand Cherokee #1.

    2008, metallic blue, 75k miles.

Foamed & washed with Super Soap.
Clayed with Meguiars blue clay & ONR.
    All tar removed with Tarminator.
    Polished/waxed with #66 - Quick Detailer (Cleaner/Wax) via PCXP.
All trim dressed with #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner.
    Tires/fenderwells dressed with Hyper-Dressing 1:1.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.
    Door/trunk jambs cleaned with ONR.

    Interior:

    Vacumm/dry brush/vacumm
Shampoo carpets with 3D carpet shampoo
All leather & vinyl cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner Plus.
All leather & vinyl dressed with Quik Interior Detailer.

    During the wash:

    Int. after:

    Ext. after:

    2009, metallic black, 21k miles.

    Before:

Same process as the other one.

    Int. after:

Yes, I know. Still needs a final wipedown/vac before I depart from the vehicle for good:

    Ext. afters:

I took both sets of mats home with me after the first one was done and pressure washed the gunk out of them & shampooed them with 3D carpet shampoo.

I took some random after shots of both Jeeps together:

The dealer is supposed to be dropping off the other two next week.

You do really great work Nick! The jeeps look great! They look like they've never been driven. I really love the way you make interiors look like new. GREAT JOB!

Must be nice to have this guy as a relative. Jeez jeeps as gifts!

          Very nice Nick, as always.

Quick question, how many towels do you use per cars' interior?

            Thank you Marco.

They are in nice shape overall but the blue one has a couple dents & dings as well as a couple interior scuffs, other than that they are in good shape overall.

I agree, very nice to give newer cars as gifts. But that does not suprise me at all since this client is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and does not fall into the "cheap yet filthy rich" category.

            Thanks Joe.

I appreciate the kind words, means a lot to me.

This client has worked so hard to have what he has though, and when I say hard I mean hard.

            Thanks.

I would say in total anywhere from 10-50 terry towels.

Depends on what I am working on.

For these I would guess 35 each.

                      Excellent jobs once again.
I stole your tip of the dry brush while vacumming. That or I would still be vacumming the 09 Corolla I cleaned yesterday morning...

Oh wow, no wonder why they are soo clean! When do you have time to wash the towels? I bet you wash them every night?

I think I need to buy some more too lol

Another of your great projects, Nick.

No doubt - you know how to make any vehicle look like new again (or even better).

                            Great work.
