He's selling my favorite car. Being loaded up for LA first thing in the morning, to be shipped to Beverly Hills Maserati dealership. He says he's just too old for a car like this. No matter what I said, he wasn't budging

I just watched the Ultimate Factory TV show about teh convertible version of that car. It was truly amazing. They spend 3 days building it by hand, 9 days inspecting and adjusting every last panel and part, test drive every car flat out at 180+mph, then polish the paint, and lastly have an outside company give an unbiased inspection before it can be loaded up on the truck...

What was interesting is that the assembly line was a surge line that gave each of the 24 station 37 minutes to complete the work, but the body inspection (before paint) had an unlimited time to make any and all corrections needed to grind, shave, and smooth every imperfection out of the body panels.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I know it will be rough for a while. But hang in there. The pain will ease over time.

On the bright side, maybe I'll get to see her cruising around SoCal...
