  • 2004 Subaru Forester

I haven't posted anything in a really long time, so I thought I would share one of the last cars I did.

This is my wife's mom's (mother-in-law has such a bad stigma) Forester that I get to detail once or twice a year. Most of the time she just takes it through a tunnel wash place with those guys that come out afterwards to put the finshing swirl marks... err, I mean touches on your car. These pictures are from last year and the card should be back to about the same condition by now, but what are you gonna do? She is thinking about getting a new car soon, so I will probably do one more detail on this car to maximize her trade-in value.

Since the detail was so long ago, I don't really remember all the products I used. I know that I washed, clayed (easy to tell from the pics), and then I am fairly certain that used 105/205 on my G110 w/ a yellow SB2.0 pad. There was heavy swirling and some other radom deeper scratches.

Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think...

Thanks. It is a little bright for me, but she seems to like it. She wants a red Forester next, which would give me a new color to work on.

Thanks. It was a very gratifying job, the results were very obvious to me when finished.
