Hey everyone I just finished up a black 2005 BMW 525i. The exterior of this car was extremely swirled and as you can see the interior needed some work as well. I used a two step correction process to help clear up the black exterior and followed up with M7, Show Car Glaze, and then M26 Yellow Wax.
The process used was as follows..
Exterior:
- Wash with GC
- Wheels/Tires/Wells cleaned with WB and APC and various brushes
- Clayed with Final touch
- M105 with LC yellow foam
- M80 (2 passes) with LC orange foam, then Meg's Polishing pad 2.0
- M7 hand applied
- M26 with Meg Finishing pad 2.0
- Tires dressed with Endurance Gel and wells with HD
Interior:
- Dry Vac/brush carpets and seating
- APC+ (8:1) used to clean door panels, plastic trim, etc with various brushes
- GC leather cleaner/conditioner
- Hot water extract carpets with APC+
- Stoner Invisible Glass for windows
Total time spent: Approx. 11 hours.
Here are the before Pics, exterior and interior, I tried best to capture some of the swirls, there were literally everywhere. The car had about 60k miles on it, and had never really had any detail work:

And the after shots, some rain came in, so only able to get shots inside the garage:

Thanks for letting me share! The owner was very happy to have his black Beemer about 95% swirl free again!
Any comments are appreciated.
