Here's another new vehicle that I had a chance to get my hands on. It wasn't too bad on the exterior. The main issue here was that a protein shake was spilled behind the drivers seat. I'll explain my process a bit more along the way.

For the bug guts I just sprayed some body solvent and let it sit while I worked on the wheels.

The back just needed a good vacuum and a wipedown of the side paneling

The interior was a little dirty with a nice funky smell

Here is the area where the protein shake was spilled. You can kind of see some crusty spots on the floor mat

So I start off with the mats. Give them a good vacuum and spray them down with some Folex.

Here they are after

This is the water I pulled just from the mats

So I moved on to the interior. I figured I would use the extractor on the area where the protein shake spilled. I removed the plastic trim and cleaned as much as I could. This is after it was cleaned up

Hmmm, I could still kind of smell that foul order so I sprayed some Meguiars Odor Eliminator. I sprayed and moved on to something else. I did this a total of 5 times and while it did reduce the foul odor I could still smell it. I lifted the carpet a bit and found there is carpet padding about an inch thick. I suspect the padding has soaked some of that spill and that made it a bit difficult for me to remove. I told the customer that if the smell still remains for them to call me and I'll give it as many trys as necessary until the odor is 100% gone. I may need some suggestions from you fellas on this.
Lower panel/trim as I'm cleaning it using APC+

Interior all completed. I cleaned the leather seats with Meguiars Leather cleaner & Conditioner from the Detailer line.

Engine just needed a light cleaning

Afters

The paint did feel a bit rough so I went with the Mild clay and followed that up with some D301

Tires dressed with #40

So this detail took me about 6 1/2 hours. I was a little dissapointed I didn't remove 100% of the fould odor from the protein shake. I'm going to follow with the customer to see if the smell is still there. If it is I'm going to give it another shot. If any of you have any recommendations on what I can use to remove the odor I would greatly appreciate it
Thanks for viewing.
