  • Zero2Hero Auto Detailing™: Nissan Cefiro Brougham VIP Full Correction

My dad's friend who owns this Cefiro has been looking for someone to fix his so called "scratches" around his car. For me, i see swirls, RIDs, and alot of abuse...

So as for today ive only slept 6 hours since my last detail. abit worn out abit tired, i had to push my passion to the limit and give this babe a big big smile to her owner! Passion Rules!

    Before i start the prescription..some teasers =p

    Wiped the engine with ONR
    Should a 3.0 V6 be left like this..... =/

Todays prescription for this sexy looking babe
    ONR No Rinse Wash
    Optimum (OPT) Hyper Compound
    OPT Hyper Polish
    OPT Quick Wax
    OPT Power Clean
    Meg's Detailing Claybar
    Meg's Ultimate Quick Detailer
    Tools:
    Makita 9227c polisher
    Makita stock Wool pad
    Lake Country Cutting pad
    Lake Country Polishing pad
some brushes and sandpapers up to 2000grid

Started with some standard inspections around the car doors, roof, hood, boot and found tonnes of damages to be fixed. without hesitation. i wash it with my favorite potion ONR No Rinse wash!
just with ONR, look at the reflection!

After that clayed down with 1:8 ONR as lube
look at what ive picked up just from quarter of the roof! ewwww

Proceed to doing test spots...i ran out of masking tape...had to use cello tape as an alternative @@
tape up and did a test spot with Opt hyper compound and wool pad... 50/50 looks something like this

    Compounded part

    Not compounded part

    Before...

Following with LC Yellow cutting pad results are quite good...
After testing to determine how could i solve the scratches i decided that some minor wet sanding was requires. i used 1000 grid wet sanded the scratches parts then moving to 1500 then to 2000 till even, after that i did a few passes on wool pad and 1 more pass on cutting pad. No more RIDs :proud:

Even my Golden Retriever shares at the gloss

After that i move to the side wheel arcs and doors till complete
After that i had a short break for lunch and my brother wanted to offer some help.
He then invented some amazing tools for Rim cleaning :adore: hahaha epicness!
    "Extended" Brush

    Water "Jet"

In return he opted that i detail his blackberry lulz~ of all the other things he could wan so i just did it anyway...

Light pass with compounded wool pad, move to a more harder pass on cutting pad, then speed 1 to 2 to 1 on hyper polish sprayed some wax and applied Meg's UQD
tadaaaa a well protected backpanel with extreme deep gloss

Even my Golden Retriever was emo as i didnt have time to play with her @@

After lunch i moved on the the roof and boot area...
    Roof Area Compounded

This part is the most not safisfied part of all as i couldnt do anything to it. it was "touched up" with a chinese calligraphy brush =.=! notice the whitish spots

After Completely Compounding the car, i moved on to polishing Speed 1 spread, speed 2 to work the product and then to buff off. Then, Waxed and sprayed some Meg's UQD for hydrophobic effect ^^
Reflection Shots of overall job =) My fav part of every detail
Paw Sun Shots at the roof

    Remember the oxidized headlights... cleared!

    Deep black gloss *bling bling*

Which is which? which is the real one =p

    Another Roof reflection

    Boot corrected

    Front Hood

Dark Gloss and Cefiro Chrome badge

    Roof Area

    Boot area

    Side doors

Then it started to Rain! KC's Fav ^_^

    Water beading...

    Alien Eggs~

    Thanks for viewing~!

    Regards,
    Josh/s1tl/1st

Very nice full detailed restoration, Josh.

I really like those mirror-like reflection shots. And your Water Jet & extended detail brush.

Your Golden Retriever is adorable. She looks very patient.
