  • F-650, X5, Camry, Pacifica

    2008 Ford F-650.

Detailed the interior on it a couple weeks back, should be going back sometime next week to do the exterior.

Did not get befores but there was dirt & dust everywhere.

Client set up some lighting for me as well.

I apologize for the crappy pics.

Carpets were vacummed & shampooed with 3D Carpet Shampoo.
All interior surfaces were cleaned with All Purpose Cleaner.
A final application of Quik Interior Detailer was applied.
    Jambs were cleaned with ONR.
Glass cleaned with Glass Cleaner Concentrate 10:1.

    After:

    ===============================

    2010 BMW X5.

Last time I detailed it was at the start of the new year. Client wanted it cleaned up real good now that winter is over.

Took about five hours, an hour just on the wheels alone. Will probably be doing a more in depth detail in the summer or late spring.

    Befores:

I washed it with 3D Wash & Wax using my foam gun.
All wheels, tires, & wells were cleaned with PP & Wheel Brightener.
Paint/wheels were sealed with Syntehtic X-Press Spray Wax
    Tires/wells/undercarriage panels (vinyl) dressed with #40 - Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner.

The interior was vacummed & all surfaces were cleaned with Quik Interior Detailer. The drivers side floormat was cleaned with 3D Carpet Shampoo & All jambs were wiped clean with ONR.

Engine was blown dry and wiped down as well:

    ===============================

Camry & a Pacifica both serviced at one loaction.

    There were washed with ONR.
Tires/wells dressed with All Season Dressing.
Paint was waxed/sealed with Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax.

Looks Good Nick; Do you mix your glass concentrate with tap water or distilled?

I need to run over some day and let you clean my engine. Your work is always immaculate.

            Great work Nick!

I have a quick question for you. You say you do the wheel/tires/wheel wells with WB, yet in your pictures it is foamy and looks like soap. What is your process when you use WB? Whenever I use it, the wheels are clean and I haven't needed to follow up with soap or anything else. Just wondering why you follow with soap?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

            I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
            Remove swirls my friends.

I only spray the wheels with WB.

I spray the WB, let sit for at least a minute, foam, agitate with various brushes, then rinse.

WB is powerful but it still needs to be followed up with a soapy water agitation in most cases.

Spent an hour on the wheels alone.

Even went as far as going behind the spokes.

                  Thanks!
Gotcha, I'll typically just clean the wheel with a brush after letting the wheels it for a few seconds with WB on it. This gets the wheel squeeky clean for me. I was just wondering if you found any sort of advantage to having soap on the wheel, but I guess its just personal preference.
