  • DA Microfiber System....Dodge Charger...

Hammered! Seriously neglected, dirty, bad buffing, very rough shape! Owner recently bought this and wanted a good starting point. Another DA Microfiber System rescue!

And the Afters….Sorry about these. It was getting really dark, really quick! So I ran it outside before it got too dark. Still some clean up left beyond these pics, but just keep your eyes on the paint lol!

another awesome job Nick! Hey tell us about how much haze the correction compound imparts, from what I can tell from the shots of the hood where you buffed just some areas with it, it appears the paint was shinier then the areas that weren't compounded

Nick one more ques- what's our impression on how much oil this system has (if you worked with dry paint of course)

I've heard stories from different people about haze from the compounds using these pads, and while that may be 100% true, I just don't see it anymore. I believe that I've had better luck with this system because I've had quite a bit of time perfecting my application/use of these pads. I'm not saying that I'm better than any of these other users, please don't take it like that. But think of it like the first time you used a rotary buffer. All these other guys are getting perfect results, and you're still getting buffer swirls and holograms. Kind of the same thing. The more time you spend perfecting your application, the better the outcome will be. 2 things I've tried to beat into peoples heads(lol!) are SLOWER are speed and use very little product! I believe those two things are the reason I'm not getting haze like some of the other users. Plus I've had the guidance of Kevin Brown over the past few years with this system. If I ever had a serious problem where I just couldn't make it work, Kevin always had an answer that worked for me. Which is why I've opened my own self up to be your "Kevin Brown", like I had over the past few years. Anyone that is having issues, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I will do everything in my power to help get you through that rough spot.

                              Good question!

Honestly, I don't believe they have any "oils" like we're used to with M80 or something like that. Obviously the Finishing Wax is different than the Compound, but I don't believe they have any oils in them at all. But.........I have absolutely no idea of the ingredients of these products. So basically, I don't know lol! I think that's a better question suited for Jason Rose or Kevin Brown, both of which are EXTREMELY BUSY right now, so please do not get frustrated with their lack of response. Honestly after the past few months, I'm surprised Jason has any hair left at all lol
