so i finally joined the forum after lurking for a while and wanted to show what i did this weekend.
This is my 2006 Chrysler 300C. I take good care of it so i had a few swirls plus its silver so even if you wanted to see them you would have to be really close and look at it from different angles. i didnt take any pics of how it looked before because it didnt look bad but now i wish i did to show how much better it looks.
I got my 5 in. DA Microfiber System package and couldnt wait to use it. it took a while to figure out what i was doing with this stuff but i figured it out and finished it out pretty easily afterwards. i decided to go all out and use some of the other Ultimate products i got, Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Liquid Wax. the polish was easy to apply and remove but the wax something new. its easy to apply and remove but this stuff goes on clear and you cant even tell that you're applying it to the car. i'm pretty sure i used a little more than i was supposed to but it still came off really easy after letting it dry for an hour. in the end, i got some nice reflections but my car has the worst orange peel but i'm still happy with the results. it was kinda cloudy today so the pics arent the best. i might take some more later when its sunny.
Steps i did:
-Washed with Gold Class car wash
-Clayed using water after rinsing it off...but really didnt need it since i last clayed in mid December
-Corrected paint with DA MF system on speed 5 on my PC 7424XP
-Ultimate Polish with old version brown/beige Megs finishing pad on speed 3
-Ultimate Liquid Wax on black Megs finish pad on speed 3
a couple shots of the car
