Does this mean you skipped the D301 on the Finishing Disc and went straight to Fuzion after compounding??
Yes sir! That is EXACTLY what I did! This is only cut using the new DA Compound with the MF 5.5 pad, then hand waxed with Fuzion. No polishing step was performed at all! That is just how good this system can finish out! I can get the same results with M105, Solo, SIP, and a few others. These pads absolutely ROCK!

Very interesting.
Now, just so everyone reading this knows, the paint is playing a sizeable role here. Yes, Nick is a supremely fine detailer, but we don't really expect this case of D300/Cutting Disc to finish LSP ready to be the norm. So if you're buffing out a car with this system and the paint looks a bit hazed, don't think you've done something wrong. Or that Nick is just a way better detailer than you are - it's how the paint is responding to this input. And that's why we developed the Finishing Wax and finishing disc. Still, when a paint behaves like this, it is a nice present.
And Nick is darn good at what he does!!!

Don't listen to this guy! If I can do this stuff, anybody can! This system just makes it that much easier.
To be honest, this system(mainly the pads) have made me totally enjoy buffing again. Don't get me wrong, I've always loved doing it, but this system just makes it more.....fun? I don't know if that's the right word or not, but I definitely enjoy buffing so much more now!

Wow, that sounds awesome. As Mike said, a lot of it was probably down to the paint type but to now that that's possible is prettty cool...

I own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
Excuse me while I drool over the paint on this car! Gorgeous color on this viper! Definitely my favorite viper color.
Nick, if you are loving these MF pads like I am seeing than I better place my order right this second before you take everywhere out of stock! I am very excited to try this new system out for myself.
