Here are a few pictures of a 67 caddy I was lucky enough to recently sort out. I had a fun time with this one, a true classic.
Now, seeing that this is my first post, you will have to excuse the lack of before and after shots, but here are a few before and afters. Hope you enjoy.
Process:
Rinsed
Foamed
Wheels cleaned with various brushes
followed by wash with a sheepskin wash mitt and 2bm
de tarred
clayed using megs mild
rinsed
then brought inside to polish
Menz 203 on a Gloss-it light cut pad on the Makita (this removed over 90% of the swirls, as the paint was surprisingly easy to work with)
then followed by Menz 85rd on a Gloss-it blue finishing pad again on the rotary
full IPA wipedown
then topped with Pinnacle Signature II (customers request as he already had a pot)
Wheels polished with megs nxt
tires received megs #40
Engine cleaned by hand with megs apc, all britework done with megs nxt
Final wipedown with Ride Shine QD
Before:

After:

A big thanks to the client for letting me sort out his caddy, I had a fun time with this detail.
Best regards
