  • 2007 GMC Sierra

This was a detail I did on Friday. This belongs to a co-worker of mine. (big surprise)

The owner had recently decided to get it detailed because he purchased this truck after his lease was up. He takes very good care of it so this was actually pretty easy. That was a nice change.

    Process:

    Wash- Super Soap w/Megs mitt
    Tires/Wheelwells-Super Degreaser/Hyper Dressing
    Wheels-Wheel Brightener
    Clay-Megs Mild/Last Touch
    Glass-Glass Concentrate
    Trim-Ultimate/M40
    Interior-Einszett Cockpit Premium
    LSP-M21 2.0

It was a little cool outside so I decided to do the interior first.

    Some irreversible damage to seat.

Removing the mat made it much easier to clean.

    Before

    After

    Vacuuming complete

    Interior was cleaned with Einszett

    Leather was treated with Lexol

    Pedals were cleaned up also

On to the wash (no exterior befores because truck was pretty clean)

This is shoe polish the owner asked me to remove

    All better

    And the afters

    Thanks for looking.

What steps did you take to clean the engine compartment? I have the same truck and my engine compartment looks like the before pic. I'm terrified to wash it because I have never done it before and I don't want to ruin anything.

Good Job! Interesting, you used UP with G110v2. I got to try that on my pillars.

I'm guessing he did that because he had to cover a very large area. I believe Mike Stoops showed that technique at an Open Garage one time except he used a W9207 pad.

                        Jason.
I just rinsed the engine first, then pre soaked with Super Degreaser and brushed everything with a soft bristle brush. Once dry, I sprayed everything with Hyper Dressing mixed 2:1. Hyper Dressing pretty much spreads itself evenly so just spray and let it do its thing. Any other questions please hit me up.

Thanks Don. Things have been crazy...I jacked up my back at work so I had to take it easy, then the dog needed ACL surgery, then another surgery..... its been nuts! Finally getting back into the swing of things though!
