  • Long term forum reader from the Operation Comfort Shop

Hey everyone. I'm Wes. I used to be one of the Wounded Warriors at the shop you guys have been seeing all over the forum and on the speed channel.

Im now a civilian and currently trying to get a detailing "Section" of the shop going, that seems to be coming along pretty well.

Well I just figured I'd use my introduction post to post something I've been working on.

The hood that Mike was damp sanding when he came down was passed on to me to finish up by my buddy Rob who painted the hood.

This was my first time ever using a rotary buffer. I borrowed my buddy's Makita.

Sorry for the blur...I have a pretty bad shake in my hands I cant seem to get rid of for the past few years, lol.

I know it's not perfect, but I'd like to know what you guys think. I finished it down as good as I could with the rotary, I plan on going over it tomorrow with the PC since I have very light scratches still present. This clear is SUPER soft! dang Cobra Blues are putting fine scratches in it too.

Let me know what you guys think!

Wes, thank you for your unselfish service to our country. Having people like you willing to fight for our freedom allows me to lay my head down at night without worry. You are a true hero, and the citizens of this country owe you many thanks. God bless.

For anyone wanting to watch the Wounded Warriors Special, here's the next air dates...

there will be 3 more airings for the Wounded Warrior's Garage Special,
                2:00pm on Wednesday, December 15th

                2:00am on Friday, December 17th

                11:00am - Saturday, December 25th, 2010 - Christmas Day
If you haven't seen the Wounded Warrior's hour long special yet it's a heart warming show where you get a chance to meet real heroes that have served our country.

Most of it is with Bruno Massel interviewing and working with Veterans and it's very well done and fun to watch.

                p.s.

Wes, you're pictures are not showing up, I sent you a PM and if you call me I'll help you to get them uploaded to a "forum gallery" and then insert them and then they'll always show up.
