  • Winter Prep. 1999 Passat

I did this last week, and now I have time to share.fficeffice" />

    Silver car is great.
There are still a lot of swirls.
However, I want my paint to last so I decided not to polish them out.
    I did a 2 buckets wash.
I clayed the whole car with clean surface clay kit and then used UC with cutting pad to polish some scratches out to not noticeable.
some cleaner wax and Gold class paste wax Via DA in speed 3-4.
wiped down the interior and dress the leather with leather conditioner.

I don't have before. As it was clean, since it is my car LOL.
I have only some after with my 400W light.
and 1 reflection shot i took today, 1 week after I washed it.

    And today's pic.

I am not going to lie, it has a lot of swirls... light to medium...
But it is silver, and it is really not that bad.
So I would leave it the way it is...
The color pops now after clay and cleaner wax.

    I am happy with it.
More paint = more time to play with.
If I maintain it well, not putting new swirls, i will eventually remove all the swirls LOL!!

    cheers,

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Great work. Hard to believe it is 11 year old paint. Great work.
