This 1967 Pontiac GTO belongs to the original owner since the age of 16. This gorgeous GTO was shipped out from Indiana, and the owner flew in from NY to visit her family and her jewel which is kept in So Cal. I was hired to bring her back to life and restore that sparkle that she once had. My customer had not seen her vehicle for over 3 years........
So I performed this job last Friday out here in So Cal, when we had a weirdest mixed bag of weather. My client wanted her classic detailed and polished for the local Fullerton Car Show on Oct 2, 2010
Here was were I started, skies were partially blue and I was ready..
Here is where I was heading.....the skies were looking dark and the rain was dumping.
As I am in route, the customer calls and asks if I have my own power because the city of Fullerton had a power failure and the storm hit hard. I told her that I have a generator and that I had my own power.

At this point the skies were clearing up, so here are some after shots....

Rolled out into the sun for some final shots.....
Such a wonderful customer, it was a pleasure to take care of her detailing needs, she even emailed me back on Sunday with some good words....

The car looked absolutely beautiful at the show. I was so proud of it. Mostly due to you. We passed out a few of your cards, met some really nice people. Good thing you told me to make a sign. We did but it was a real joke compared to the signs some of those car people made. But we enjoyed it anyway. If it wasn't for you, I would have felt out of place. Thanks for that suggestion too.
We will keep the car looking its best for the next time you detail it.
