This was just a single stage polish with a 94 'Vette. My process:
Wash w/ Gold Class shampoo
Clay the surface with Clay Magic bar and Megs QD
Two passes of UC with the DA on a finishing pad
Finished off with Megs Gold Class wax.
It had quite a few swirls and this particular corner had some really bad marring. Looks like something had scraped it.

You can see some of what the swirls looked like. Not too bad for a car this age. (Bear with me, the camera wasn't that great)

Believe it or not, this is not just lighting. This is an actual color change from polishing. It cleared up that well.

It is kind of hard to see but right in the middle of the picture, you can see the color change here. There was a panel right behind the convertible top that had some oxidation. This is kind of a 50/50 shot.

And here is a close up all finished





Not too shabby for a 6 hour quickie. I am a Corvette geek so I had a lot of fun with this one.
