Volvo S60 - D151 Single Stage Detail

    Volvo S60 - D151 Single Stage Detail

    My buddy Matt helped me out a bit with this detail because I was a bit pressed for time. He helped with Wheels/Claybar and Interior work.

    Full wash with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash n Gloss through Autogeek Foamgun
    Wheels cleaned with Chemical Guys Grime Reaper
    Entire car was clayed using Claymagic Mild Claybar
    Car was lightly polished with Meguiar's D151 with FLEX DA on speed 6 on a white Lake Country pad
    Showroom FX's Crystal Black Carnauba Creme was applied by DA and blue Lake Country pad
    Tires were dressed with Chemical Guys VRP Dressing
    Trim and wheel wells were dressed with Chemical Guys Bare Bones
    Polished trim was dressed with Chemical Guys Metal Polish
    Final wipedown was completed with an Acryllic Detail Spray

    No heavy polishing/compounding was done. They just wanted the car cleaned up really nicely.







    SFX Black Carnauba Creme Applied





    My buddy matt, who helped me out, is apparently ready to leave, lol








    Whoever previously waxed this car left a lot of wax in the nooks and crannies...Matt's takin care of it with cue tips and a couple tiny foam sticks I have.

      It was nice to have some help for once! I'm so used to doing everything myself, but it's a lot more enjoyable to have another person around during the detail. Makes the time go by a lot quicker.

          My wife has a 2001 S60 that lives outside. On the schedule for detailing this Spring once snow melts. I hope I can get results like yours using M83 and DAPC.

              Nice. I have a volvo s60 as well. What kind of cam did you use? Anymore photos of this car?
