Looks pretty bad, not the worst though.

Removing the door panels was a good move since that will make them easier to clean.

I would start by pressure washing the door jambs first.

What tools and supplies do you have on hand?

    Whats the outside look like?

    Best of luck.

You certainly have your work cut out for you.

I don't know what they've offered to pay you, but I hope a good general cleaning is all that is expected. A full restoration on something like that would be a lot of work.

Good luck. Even if it ends up looking just "okay" I think you did a good job.

It certainly is a dust pile. Looks like a yard truck from a mine or aggregate facility. I'd blast it with an air gun after giving it a quick vacuum and wipe.

I do have a pressure washer but for this i was planning to just scrub out all the jambs with various brushes and rags using a bucket and hyperwash then rinse with a hose. I did pull all the plastic trim off the door sills as well as all the rubber door gaskets and will wash them all off the truck.
I have a pretty good selection of products i just got in, here is the link showing everything in my first order http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=44641

The outside of the truck i didnt get any before pics when i first got it. I repainted one bedside as well as the drivers fender and front door so those look like new. I will have to work on the rest of the panels to bring them up to par but i have already ran a buffer over them once real quick just to make sure i had a good paint match.
Basically i have always done the mechanical repairs to vehicles and bodywork then farmed out the detail job. But i was never really satisfied with the detail results so i decided to jump in and get the products to do it myself and save a few bucks at the same time.

Good luck with the interior. It looks like it was parked in the middle of a dust storm with the doors wide open. I am very interested in how well this will clean up. Good luck to you. It will be a very time consuming endeavor.

                    Yea, kinda nasty looking.

If you had not done it yet, I was going to suggest ripping the interior out to clean piece by piece. Attention to detail will matter.

                    Any Exterior shots??

Not yet, it tirned into one of those projects between projects. I have the seats all cleaned and the carpet. Currently repairing the air bag switch light and power door locks. I should have it all put back together this weekend and get some after pics.

Yup, looks right to me. Probably was a long Haul tower, if a diesel, thats just breaking in the motor.

Yep thats correct. It was owned by a construction company then sold to a kid who was driving it when the turbo went out and sold it to me as having a bad engine. I put a new turbo on it and replaced one weak injector and she runs like new. I wont say what i paid for it but taking into consideration it was a kid who thought he blew up the engine it wasnt much!.... I should have all the interior back in it this weekend.

Here are some after pics. Sorry for not getting them up sooner but it slipped my mind. I didnt get Q'tip happy with it or anything but it is definately the most serious cleaning i have ever attempted on a vehicle. I appreciate any constructive comments as well. Thanks!
