I have these "defects" all over my car. Not sure what they are. At first I thought something got on my car, or maybe they were bird droppings. But, I started noticing them all over and even where a bird had "dropped" on my car, I was able to get those "defects" out with just buffing. Not to mention, this isn't your average "dropping" style defect. Some people had suggested my car was repainted, and I'm now starting to believe it. I finally grabbed the CarFax on my car...and bird dropping...it was in an accident. Damn car dealership told me the CarFax was clean! (My fault for not checking. First car I bought myself, that wasn't off family...so, oops).

Anyways, I shot video, but the defect didn't show up on camera. So, here's some before/after photos.

    What I Used:

Meguiar's 1000/3000 Grit Foam Finishing Discs (On the PC 7424)
Meguiar's 3" Wool Spot Pad w/m105 (HF Rotary)
Meguiar's 4" Yellow Spot Pad w/m205 (HF Rotary)
P21s Concours Wax (Hand...with Meguiar's foam wax pad)

Good Job, looks like you got paint perfectly corrected

Did you use the Professional Headlight and Spot repair kit

Basically, yeah. But I pieced the kit together separately. I already had M105/M205, so I pretty much just bought the pads, sanding disc's and backing plates separately. Got them on sale and had a discount code, so it was cheaper that way.

I highly recommend that kit though! I've done headlights and now I am starting on paint.

Nice work! We had a couple of guys playing with the 3" sanding/finishing discs and 4" buffing pads on the air powered mini-tools at our last Advanced Class, and they all just loved the experience.

Yeah, I really love these things. I wish I had an air compressor and those tools. Much easier than holding up my PC and rotary. The 3" and 4" pads are easy to handle though. I was controlling the rotary with one hand and eating an apple with the other. Haha...should have filmed that!

Someday, when I can even afford this hobby...I'll have a compressor and be able to use them. I wish I had time to come out for one of the classes!
