  • just a picture of my black shadow

am a relative techno goof when it comes to posting picture but am trying valiantly to get the job done thru the tutorial i found on mol. hope it comes thru. my camera does not do justice to the look but am hoping that it will shine a little for the rest of the mol members.

the black shadow was prepped with meguiar's deep crystal car wash with sheep skin mitt two bucket method. mf waffel weave towel to dry. then meguiars cleaner wax with pc 7424 and white buffing pad. buffed with a plush mf towel. topped with the new gold class(courtesy of Mosca) with pc7424 and a blue polishing pad. buffed out o a nice shine with another plush mf towel. two days later i applied meguiars new Nxt booster wax with a microfiber applicator and buffed to a nice shine with a polishing mf towel.

i hope it looks as good as the fun i had getting it to look this way!

    Hi cwcad,

    Your truck looks great!

I hope the tutorials weren't to hard to digest, but it looks like they work!

      mike,

the tutorials were the only way i was going to get online with this picture. i had several others to post but some how they stayed in the gallery and did not make it to the post.

hey, not only am i keeping a clean and shiny truck now a days, but i am getting more and more comfortable with new technology. it is funny that meguiars and mol have been helpful in both cases.

Here are the others ones from your gallery,

You look a little to young to drive in this photo...

The reason you are unable to post the other pictures is because the picture file name is too long.

Here's one of the pictures file name,

            2019christmas_pie_BRAVADA_MAKEOVER_011005_087.jpg

            Shorten that down to

            2019christmas_pie_BRAVADA_MAKEOVER.jpg

by losing the number your camera gives it and you'll be okay in the future.

              thanks mike,

i have tried to get picture up on this for a long time and i was a little dicouraged when the pictures did not appear.

the best one is the one with my constant companion and fellow detailer, my son, Kellen. he is four years old and really loves the silverado almost as much as Dad or so he said one day while he was cleaning the wheels of the truck
