    2009 BMW 328i

This belongs to another co-worker of mine.
This is his wifes car and she was out of town so he thought it would be a good time to get it cleaned up.

    Typical BMW wheels. Filthy.

Wheels got a generous spray with APC+ 4:1 Body Panels got Body Solvent

    Look pretty good right?

    NOT!

After some wheel brightener and elbow grease. (This took 1 hour Don )

Interior was pretty clean. Nothing much to show.

Under the hood was a different story. APC+ 4:1 and lots of rags.

Engine wasdressed with Hyper Dressing at 2:1

Someone bumped her in a parking lot. Some 105 on the rotary with a 4" polishing pad worked well.

Car was clayed with Mild clay and Last Touch then sealed with M21 2.0

    Thanks for looking.

Great job there Bob. Love the car. Wheels turned out spiffy too!

Great Job! Way to save those wheels!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

        I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
        Remove swirls my friends.

Looks excellent! I'm very impressed that you remove the tires to clean the wheels.

May I ask how long this job took you?

White cars do such a good job of hiding imperfections. Keep that badboy washed and sealed and it'll pretty much always look great.

                Great work on those wheels

Thanks. Its kind of funny detailing a car that it almost identical to your own.

With my wife helping, we had about 7 hours in it. We also did a full interior clean which consists of: interior shampoo, extensive cleaning of dash and trim, 2 step leather seat cleaning and conditioning, etc.

Normally I do not remove the wheels but for a small fee I will. BMWs are well known for how bad their brake dust is. That is one thing that drives me crazy with ours. I use that Armor All Wheel Protectant spray and that stuff is worth its wieght in gold for sure.

                    Thanks!

Lucky you, my girlfriends likes to "watch" me work on her car.

You did a really nice job. Was that road tar all over the bottom panels?

Yeah, she is a great helper.
It is a combination of road grime, brake dust, and dirt and such.

probaly a newb question but i guess we were all new once. lol. what is that thing that elevates the rim from the ground it looks white and plastic?

top notch work on the 328 by the way. i actually have to go back and look at the body panel pics as i was utterly amazed with the turn around on the wheels. good show mate.
