  • 99 WS6 Firebird Formula (Black)

Cleaned up the formula this morning and went and got some pictures.

It was still in pretty decent shape and didn't need a full polishing or anything yet, although I can definitely see some small micro-scratches in areas...but it's to be expected on a daily-driver black car. What are ya gonna do, lol.

It was polished with Megs 105 and 205 combo about 5 months ago, so this was just a touch-up/maintenance detail.

So I cleaned her up via...

Two bucket wash and Foam Gun with Chemical Guys Wash and Gloss
Chemical Guys EZ-Creme Glaze applied via PC and White Pad
Final Wipe-down with Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax
Tires and Wells dressed with Meguiars Hot Shine Gel
Trim was dressed with TW ICE Liquid Polish
Then right before I took it out for photos I did another wipe-down with Showroom FX quick detailer

    Results:

    Foamed up

A bit of the dreaded roof bubbling, but at least it's got the clarity

This area could use a bit of a finishing polish to refine it down a bit, but it's still holding out pretty well, like I said, for a daily driver.

I liked this shot a lot

Thats one of the better Black Ponchos that I have seen in a while. Btw, thats a rare care if its a real WS.6 Formula with a Hard-top. I wonder if it has the 1LE RPO code.... then it be as rare as a Fbody can get.

          Thanks

          I believe it's only 1 of 37x

It is a true WS6 Formula with 40k on the clock.

I know because it's my wife's daily driver, ha ha It was in rough shape when we got it, but the entire car was polished with 105/205 combo about 6 months ago (unfortunately don't have before/after pics of that).

It has intake/3" Y/Borla Exhaust (open plate) and a built A4 Trans with 2700 converter.
It's dropped with BMR springs and has tubular LCA's and a UMI Torque Arm.

                That is my wife's car.

                Thanks

When you get up close you can see the little rock chips in the front bumper from being a daily driver, but overall the car is in pretty solid shape and looks great when it's cleaned up.
