First wash for van since Nov!

I was absolutely disgusted with my van after I didn't wash it since November. So decided to take advantage of a relatively calm week (before really frigid air hits us next weekend).

Refletion's not that great since it's light but it's nice and clean. Products involved:

Gold Class Shampoo
Gold Class All Wheel cleaner
EXTRA All purpose cleaner
Absorber
QD in some places
NXT Spray Wax








I looked like a retard reversing and driving the car back and forth slowing applying the brakes to remove the rust. Still find it very annoying that there really isn't much of a good way to prevent it from rusting.

I tried the EXTRA cleaner for the first time and my wheelwalls are nice and clean.

A question, I used the Absorber for the first time and I was really afraid that the material would scratch the surface but I used it anyway. It claims that it won't scratch and it didn't seem to have scratched it.

Does anybody know for sure that it doesn't scratch?

As for the absorber, I've never really experimented with one and thus, I'm going to allow someone else to chime in with their experience. I prefer to utilize waffle-weave microfiber towels but, it's a personal preference.
