Super Degreaser 10:1

I'm liking the Super Degreaser. As you can see my truck was pretty clean to begin with other than the wheel wells and tires. I'm pretty impressed with how well the Super Degreaser works with a 10:1 ratio. I doubt I will be buying Spray Nine any longer.

If you are real observant you would have noticed that the before and after photos are of opposite sides of the vehicle. I hadn't planned on taking a photo, but after seeing how well it worked, I had to share.

I use SD on almolst every detail.

Here you can see how much gunk is coming out of what appeared to be a reasonably clean tire.

Nick, I noticed you use it all the time, that's why I gave it a try. I wouldn't have thought of using it for this application. I would have probably only used it under the hood.

I use mine with an ADS foaming sprayer head.

I liberally spray it on the tire and let it dwell for about a minute.

A lot of gunk will roll off on its own.

What ratio are you mixing it at for tires and wheel wells?

I have two bottles, one at 10:1 and one at 4:1.

Is SD safe on Chrome wheels? I have a 2011 MKX detail in a few weeks....

I wouldnt use SD on wheels.

I would just use it on tires, wells, and engines.

so do you guys agitate it or apply and rinse?
personally i use APC+ 4:1 with a foaming sprayer and get the same looking gunk to roll off as does Nick ..... so now i"m wondering whats the real difference?!

I always follow up with a soapy water agitation.

I tried keeping it off my wheels best I could. I quickly rinsed and followed up with a soapy wash Meguiar's Versa Angle Wheel Face brush. Very nice brush I might add.

I use both APC and SD on tires. I normally use APC with a foaming sprayer on tires with dirt, and SD just with a chemical resistant sprayer with tires that appear to have leftover dressing on them. I get the brown looking foam with APC as well. I do notice however that after using SD 4:1 that the water runs pretty brown.

SD, APC, and APC+ all work great on tires. Foaming sprayers make it more visible. Use what works great for you, and in my case, I like to vary it up between all 3!
