The vehicle is a 2007 Hyundai Azera, the focus was on a few RIDS and to clean-up the interior. This detail took place over about 12 hours; all of which saw some humid Cincinnati weather, with temperatures in the high 80's. The Azera didn't look bad at first glance, (they never do), but after washing and especially after claying I saw the swirls and wash marks covering the entire vehicle. Since the marks were all over and there was at least one random scratch on each panel, I decided to start with M105 and a 7" polishing pad on my test spot, with the D/A. Results were okay, about 70% correction, then I followed with M205 and a 7" polishing pad. The 205 helped clarify some of the more faint marks, and correction was about 80%. I picked another test spot and used M105 with a 4" polishing pad, followed by M205 with a 4" polishing pad. Results were about 85% correction on the top surfaces (hood, roof, trunk lid) and about 90%-95% on all other surfaces. Some of the random scratches were too deep to remove by D/A, but a lot of the ones on the hood and rear d.s. quarter panel came out. I've never had M105 be as fussy as it was on this car, I'm sure it's because of the high humidity and heat, the M105 was dusting like crazy, and drying out really quickly.
As it arrived; pre-wash:
Tar; soaked with Body Solvent, came off very easily.
White wax residue from previous detail left in seam, removed later with Isopropyl Alcohol and Q-tip:
Ahh, a nice soaking:
After-Wash sun shots, wash marks resembled a vinyl record!
Some hood random, isolated, deep scratches:
Now in the garage, under CFL:
A series of shots of RIDS on rear quarter panel, gas tank door, and taillight:
All came out except for large one, which was at least diminished a little bit:
Ultimate Protectant applied with foam paint edging brush:
On to the interior:
Some sticky red stuff:
Dirty leather:
M&M candy stuck inside, steam melted it in seconds, wiped right out:
Total Microfibers used...laundry time!!!

An ENTIRE cup of coffee had been spilled here, steam/Quik Out lightened up the stain quite a bit:

Nice hood reflection, most of the visible RIDS gone, see-ya swirls!
A rotary probably would've been a more effective tool for this vehicle, but I think the D/A greatly improved its overall condition. Thanks for checking it out, comments/questions welcome as always!
- Washed with Hyper-Wash in foam gun, and 3 bucket method
- Degreaser (1:10) on tires, agitated, and wheel wells. Hyper-Wash for wheels, they were in good shape.
- Body Solvent on low panels, especially tar spot behind driver's side wheel.
- Clayed with Mild clay and Last Touch 1:1. Really smoothed the paint nicely, probably first claying the car has seen.
- M105/M205 passes as stated above.
- Ultimate Protectant applied to wiper cowl.
- All-Season Dressing on tires, let soak, then wiped for more matte look, also ASD on wheel wells.
- NXT Metal Polish on exhaust tips.
- M21 Sealant applied.
- Glass Cleaner concentrate 1:10 for windows inside and out; applied Rain-X to windshield.
- Interior was steam cleaned: Leather seats, carpet, floor mats, door panels, dashboard, pretty much everything but windows.
- D180 Leather Cleaner & Conditioner applied to all leather. My first time using this, (usually GC Leather C&C) it really helped soften the leather, it really made the leather look great after wiping dry with MF.
