  • 2005 Sterling Dump Truck

Sorry, I didn't take any before pictures, but the truck was garage kept, the paint was in decent condition, but in need of a claybar and polishing to bring some gloss back as it was a little oxidized. Everything was covered in dust so the wash itself took about 3 hours. The truck is going up for sale so all lettering had be removed as well. But it came our great.
    Process:

    Exterior:
-washed with meg's super soap and degreaser where needed
-claybar with meg's blue clay with Last Touch as lube
    -polished with menzerna SIP
    -waxed with meg's NXT

    Engine Bay:
-washed down with meg's super soap and degreaser, parts were also steam cleaned
    -protected/shined with meg's hyperdressing

    Interior:
-washed with meg's APC and various brushes
    -dressed with meg's hyperdressing

    pictures:

Sorry about the quality of the interior and engine pics... not sure what my camera was doing there...

    Great work,

I did one just like it a while back but it was a Ford.

Truck looks very good. He should get top dollar for it.

Looks nice and looks like it was lots of work!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

        I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
        Remove swirls my friends.

It looks good Krzemienr. I enjoy seeing the large trucks detailed.
I also like the edge blur on your photos. It makes it look like the work truck got to spend the day at the spa :-).

thanks for the compliments guys! I'm going to be doing some more of his equipment coming up this week so I'll post up some more pictures. It's a mason company that's basically downsizing so some of the equipment is going up for sale

If I remember correctly it was a gray Ford correct? I remember seeing it and thinking it looked great!
