  • First Detail Job VW GOLF

    Hi All,

I just completed my first detail job on my 2004 VW Golf. I bought it 2nd hand with 7000k's on the clock, in excellent condition. However, there was a lot of cobwebbing when viewed in direct sunlight.
I dont have access to the DA polisher, as i live in Australia, but would love to know where i can get one. Any suggestions??

    Washed with meg glow wash
    clayed
#9 with rotary buffer (variable speed drill) with W8006
    #7 in selected areas
Mothers Step 3 pure carnuba wax x 2

You can not tell from the pictures, but there are a few light scrathes / cobwebs you can see only under certain light which still trouble me. Any ideas of how to get rid of them for good??

Also, anyine know how to avoid cobwebbing. It sometimes reappears after a few weeks.

Anyway, here are some after pics.(sorry no before's)

          Black Magic Pearl Effect
Awesome color, in North America it was only available on the 20th AE GTI and the R32.

          Good Work 'mate
