  • Concours Classic BMW

Here is the creme d'le creme of my detailing career (so far): a 1972 BMW two door sedan. Its a concours car, one of the top 3 in the northeast, and a fully restored masterpiece. The owner wanted me to detail it for this concours: http://www.fairfieldcountyconcours.com/ . The car is worth more than my life and remains in storage for most of the year, it was an honor to work on. I washed with Gold Class, used aluminum wheel cleaner on the wheels, Westley's Bleche-Wite on the tires, Meg's Aloe Leather Conditioner on the interior, QID, UQW on the windows, M205/finishing pad on the G110 to attain ~85% correction and topped with Pinnacle Souveran and M40 on the tires. Here are the pics:

BTW- Sorry about picture quality, I didn't think to borrow a camera and had to use my phone.

Nice job man, well done. I dont think it "worths more than your life" because nothing worths more than your life but i bet you it worths more than your car, you college funding and maybe everything in your room

I like the reflection in the hood where you can see the trees.

      Great job here man.

Excellent job! Did you use the Souveran paste or the liquid?

Souveran paste. As I understand, the latter is nothing like the former, with the paste being the superior of the two.
