  • Black Mach 1-First real detail job!

Here are a couple of pics of my 04 Mustang Mach 1. When I bought it the dealer put on a lot of nice water marks and fine scratches.

I bought a PC polisher along with the Essentials kit and here are the results!

I first washed it with NXT then came the clay. I was amazed at how smooth the clay made the paint feel. The I used the #80 speed glaze and NXT wax. These pictures are after one coat of wax. I did not have time to properly clean the wheels and dress the tires, but you get the idea. I live in Oregon so I needed to take advantage of the nice weather while I could before the rain came back. I plan on putting another coat of wax on next week.

The little white flakes are from some leaves the neighbor was burning. I did not notice them when I took the photos .

    Dave

how the heck did you take a picture of a shiny Mach in Oregon? I just flew in to Portland and it either drizzles or rains all the doggone time! I've had my Mach for 1.5 years and haven't turned the wipers on yet LOL!

                        Looks grand and elegant BTW

Thanks for all the great comments....they make me even prouder of the work I did. As far as the rain...I got lucky!! I am originally from the east coast (Maine) so all this rain still kind of impressive sometimes. I don't miss the road salt and will take the rain over 3 feet of snow!
